A revealing discussion that explores the challenges, and celebrates the achievements, of Black and mixed-race Irish artists, and that underlines the need to make Irish arts and culture more inclusive. The panelists – from both sides of the Atlantic — are members of the Black&Irish social media movement. Grace Odumosu — a mixed-race Irish actress who works for Irish Chicago as a youth and family coordinator moderates.

Jade Jordan, mixed-race Irish actress who recently wrote produced and starred in “The Colour Between,” one of the first black Irish women to get Screen Ireland funding. (She also is in the cast of Festival selection “Stay Home and Stay Safe.”)
Ola Majekodunmi is a Black Irish radio broadcaster and Gaeilgeoir, and the host of Afra-Éire, on Raidió na Life 106.4FM. The Dublin native is a co-founder of ‘Beyond Representation,’ an initiative that helps celebrate the achievements of women of colour in Ireland.
Alicia Raye is an Afro-Irish singer songwriter from Drogheda. She just released a much-hyped mix-tape on iTunes and Spotify.
Amanda Adé is a Black&Irish contributor and podcaster from Kildare. She became a prominent activist of the BLM movement in Ireland when one of her videos went viral.
