Origin Theatre company presents a work-in-progress reading of a new play 'Faith' by Gúna Nua Artistic Director Paul Meade. 'Faith' was commissioned by the Civic Theatre in Dublin and is being developed under the bursary scheme of the Arts Council of Ireland.  'Faith' tells the story of Michael, a Dublin salesman who has recently been made redundant.  Suffering from depression and struggling to cope with his new role as a stay at home husband Michael makes a friend, Chris at the local creche. When Michael takes up Chris' offer of a job as a low-paid security guard the scene is set for confrontation between Michael's responsibilities at home and the survival of his sense of self, even his sanity.  As Chris tries to offer Michael some comfort is he driving him further away from the very thing that sustains him?
At times darkly comic and at other times deeply unsettling 'Faith' sets out to explore one man's psychological trauma and confusion in post-recession Ireland.
